Well done! Now you have your own "transformed Ranchero"

Will renovate nicely. I hope you won´t polish the case.

looks good - i would keep the genuine omea strap and wear it until complete breakdown. you should only change the glass, should be about 15 usd

    overall great deal!

One of my favorite dial configurations and case shapes. And not just Omega but across the entire Swiss watch world from that era.
Congrats! Should be an easy crystal upgrade away from daily enjoyment (or at least rotation!)

A good-lookin' watch. Get back with us after you spruce it up.

Arrived and a nice watch, but the dial looks like an old redial. Case is in excellent condition. The Caliber 284/ 16847xxx keeps perfekt time.
    Anyway a good buy.:)

Nice watch, might be original though. The Omega text looks right but hard to tell without better pics. Here's one I had a while back.

The depth of the ink on the lettering makes me think this is original, or its a damn good redial...Love that hint of "morning dawn" patina. Great pick-up!

Font looks right and more importantly, the old radium lume plots are still all there, so it's most likely an original dial with a nice rim patina! What's the case reference, btw?

Thank you - reference is 2996-1, like the center second rancheros.
