    So instead of a 'transitional', I went in for a pre-moon, pre-pro, pre-tritium (thanks adam78!), pre-transitional transitional.

    Here is my new 105.002.

I gotta say.... wow. Having seen so many online, it's a little unreal to have one on the wrist.

And now, I'm done for a good long while.

Of course, speedmaster101 has a good write up.. http://speedmaster101.com/105-002/ and it's got a couple of pages in MWO.

    Some more pics..

    Good looking example.

I too have been looking for a transitional, for a supplier of mine to give to her husband (in another buisiness) and I cannot find one that I like. I thought, here's a good way to ingratiate myself, how hard can it be?

    6 months now....

Might as well 'shoot for the moon'. This beats a transitional any day!

True, but one used to get three or four transitionals, for the price of a 105.002

So what's the story? Did you trade something for it?

And yeah, your good long while will be over soon once...;)

The watch was listed recently here on a WTT, but I don't have much worth trading for it, especially not a 2998. Worked out a $deal$.

It took a long voyage, but arrived quickly!

Extract ordered, first time for me... just to see what it's like.

    Feedback welcome. .

Edit, @TNTwatch, it HAS to be over for a while at least. Ouch!

I would be curious to see some sharp straight lug pics, close up on the lugs. I have a good sense of what the twisted lugs look like, but not as clear on how sharp is sharp on a straight lug.

It is actually a tritium dial incidentally, as there are no radium 105.002s, the lack of Ts doesn't necessarily mean the presence of radium

Very nice. What is the over/under for how long until you are back trolling the FS boards.

    Gosh, Darn, Golly, Gorgeous!

The only thing I can say that would be 'transitional' about this one, is it induces a 'transition' into Nirvana!

I still have a hard time believing the seller gave this one up!

    Congrats, my friend...::psy::

Love the 002s. Mine should be done with its spa treatment at Nesbit's next week.
