    Can anyone tell me what they know about this watch bought in 1963? It keeps near perfect time and has been in the box for almost
    50 yrs. I inherited this from my dad. He passed away in 1971. Id like to get a
    New glass cryst 20190524_220033.jpg 20190524_220009.jpg 20190524_215823.jpg al the acrylic one is scratched.

    American gold case? made in the early 60’s what exactly do you want to know?

    Your Dad had taste. As @connieseamaster said, polishing the crystal (window) will do wonders for the appearance. Also, you should have the watch serviced by a watchmaker if you want to wear it regularly. Figure a few hundred dollars for that service.
