No. I'm a new to the forum and not sure how to. I've been an Omega owner for the last 5 years (Planet Ocean 600M and Aqua Terra Quartz) and I read the forum regularly... I've never posted before and just want to make sure nobody parts with 5k for a 10 pence watch. This is my planet ocean I bought back in November ...

That's a particularly bad fake that seems to pop up somewhat regularly on eBay.

Thanks. I'm on the mobile eBay site so I couldn't see it. I clicked on the 3 dots in the top right and found the link... so it's now reported to eBay.

LOL, this watch has been reported numerous times and ebay still seems to keep it up. Ive talked with the seller and told him how lucky he was to have the number 1 serial and 5k wouldnt be enough for such a rare watch. I offered him 9$ for it and he told me to F&*K off. Told him 9$ is 8$ too much for it. He threatened to report me to ebay.
This guy knows its fake but still continues to peddle it as authentic. EBAY doesnt give a crap about it.

After that it's all down hill. Shit quality, He vv at 10, date window, bezel pip etc etc

Thanks - I missed the #1 bit, which, while possible, I'd concede is pretty unlikely for the money🙁

As to the other things, jump in if I'm missing anything, please

HE Valve - knurling is wrong and there's a projection through the centre.

Date WIndow - wheel is misalighned with wnidow and the edges are improperly chamfered and the date wheel is too low so there's a gap

Bezel Pip - placed too far from the edge, off-centre and cuts across inner ring

As to the etc, etc - is the crown wrong also?

How about the lettering on the case-back- looks engraved rather than laser etched?

Anything else?

I'm keen to learn what to look for in a fake, as some of the comparisons I've seen online, the differences are scary hard to spot, and would probably fool me!😲
