river rat
·Has anyone ever seen a river gorge up. This is the Madison River as you cross a bridge in Ennis MT. Whenever we have major below zero days this happens like mini-ice burgs in the river. Took these from a bridge that goes across the river there a trail in the park to get to the river but flooded out so walked to the bridge on the highway.
It will clog the river where it overflows the bank of the river and then turn into ice this is a park in Ennis you can see BQ pits in the background.
Some Montana winter photo's Texas gets off easy just have a few days and it's gone somewhat. Remember once my dad took off for a week or two in the winter while he was gone his door blew open, we got really bad wind in winter it froze the toilet cracked it and flooded the house. Your pipes would freeze if the house not built right some will let the facet drip a little to prevent freezing pipes. Mine built right as long as the propane don't run out and keeps the house warm got heating vents near every sink.
