can anyone give me any help in what model watch this is or an estimated value...i really just want to wear it but would like to know if its really valuable lol thanks for any help in advance!!!
Couple years ago, I bought two 14-karat gold Omega ladie's watches that were in far better cosmetic shape than the subject watch, an 18-karat, diamond set Gruen ladie's watch, and a gold filled ladie's Wittnauer, for $200.00, total. The subject watch would be worth scrap value for the case and tiny stones (nearly worthless), and whatever the movement would bring, for parts! Ruthless? Yup! But the truth!
How sorry to say but this is it. Scrap and a case of beer. And that goes for 90%+ of all vintage ladies watches I'm afraid.
It's a charming little watch, and nice to see a lady who isn't wearing huge men's watches. Have it cleaned up, serviced, and maybe even the dial refinished (yes, I did just say that) so it looks even nicer.
