Hello Omega Forum members ! I'm from Germany and i found my dream vintage Omega watch on a picture. Unfortunately I don't know a lot about watches and i don't have much information about this watch. i think it's a caliber 25x, 26x or 30T2 and the watch should be from the 30s, 40s or 50s. I think it was a time before watches had a name like Explorer. Maybe somebody will found my dream watch in a book etc.. it would be very nice, if you could give me all information about the watch and maybe what you think about it. For example: if there is a chance to get a similar one (i don't know how many on the market and how many were produced), how large this watch is and how expensive it could be today. by the way, the pictures are from Hodinkee. Thanks in advance!
Looks like a ref 2383, caliber 30T2. The dial appears to have been at least re-lumed, black dials on these very rarely survive in this condition. http://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage-watches-database?ref=14888
