Wow. Wow. Wonderfully written, utterly interesting, and just awesome. One of the best, if not the best personal story about a watch journey I've read. Can't wait to read more posts from you. Thanks for posting. Great job!

A very cool story and write-up.

My Speedy has been flown to Buffalo, NY [as well as other ridiculously exotic venues like Akron-Canton, OH, Flint, MI and Omaha, NE] ..which is small potatoes compared to space...

LATE ENTRY: Is it “Akron-Canton” or “Canton-Akron”?

Fantastic, considering mine is in a similar plastic bag, and hasn't flown out of the drawer...

Nice story. You should go with your speedy next time. A little diet and you should be able to fit the size/weight limitations. :D

Fly me to the moon... You did with this intergalactic story!

    If I was joking, I would have said it's a redial. :p

But being serious that might be the ignition sequence start for a Blue Origin LE to come...

    Truly Amazing!

@betamax: most importantly, was the watch running while in space? And did it gain/loss time?
    :-D
