Found this for sale on a local website.. I have never seen this kind of dial before. The indexes @ 6, 9, 12 looks very out of place. Also is seems that the waffle effect on this dial is not correct? This just seems way outta line. Comments please. [IMG]

It's a linen rather than waffle dial
    And it's been redone
    Connies don't have a multiple minute/seconds track
-and the font is all incorrect
(Check out the MOY test as a starter)
Not sure if Omega ever did indices like this (wouldn't surprise me) but not on this reference that I'm aware of

Nah, looks original to me. That is way to nice a dial to be a redial. Also, MOY test is often times unusable in these more unique Connie dials.

    Here's another one out there.

These dials are somewhat controversial. No one is quite sure if these are original or not, as I don't think they appeared in any Omega catalog anywhere in the world.

The fonts look correct for the time period (late 1960's to early 1970's). I've seen a few of these over the years and the printing is very consistent and of high quality. While it is always possible they were never originally sold with this Constellation reference (168.010?), remember that while any dial made for a cal. 561/564 will fit the movement, very few dials fit multiple case references.

My thought is that this dial and hand combination was available aftermarket from Omega dealers, similar to the beads-of-rice bracelets for most of the contemporary Constellation references.

    Hope this helps,

    I stand corrected!
In my defence - both examples look like they have pointy As
But the images aren't good enough to be sure

One of these were discussed recently on a Danish Facebook page where @tdn-dk and I are members (well, tdn's the admin!) recently. I was pretty surprised to see that they are legitimate. The combination of linen dial and "racing" seconds track seems really odd.

in the interests of adding to the knowledge pot
here's a 168.016 (27,6M cal751- so '69-ish?) on the 'Bay with a similar sans serif non-MOY-font dial - which looks correct -and like that in the 2 above
the OP watch looks to have radial brushing to the bezel (not seen a .010 with that finish) - so it could be a .016 (era) like @dero 13's example - but with a replacement 'hidden crown' crown -and so masquerading as an .010
