Leave me alone in a foreign land, as I often find myself, with nothing to amuse myself with an internet connection, a hunters mind set, and a little spare cash...... So no Speedmasters for me for a while...I keep looking
Shows an amazing lack of focus. You should offload one of the pie pans to me so you can get back on track. I'm here for you.
Well the Gold Constellation is because the wife said "I want a gold watch". I now understand, that I missunderstand women. She wants a gold watch with a gold braclet. Ouch! The Quartz is a NOS and I could not resist it. Didnt they bolt one of these to a round the world yacht? The two little Omegas were non runners, less than $300 total and now running. The blue dial is for a friend who asked for a blue dial mechanical watch for under $500 - bingo. The other constellation was bought on a whim. It was recomended on the forum. I wish I could find the thread. It said.."Dont buy that connie, its too expensive and all wrong. You might as well buy this one here..." And this one here was an auction starting at $800. I was the only bidder, so I accidentaly got it. The wife has actually worn it ever since!
You'd better wear labourer's gloves with that Seamaster Quartz - boy, that case looks as sharp as a knife nice pick up
Yes those can be dangerous Best left to the pros.. In the immortal words of Jack Benny, ........Oh Dennis!
The Omega Seamaster quartz is a Omega Mariner . From the 70's .This is the story about the watch in the mast . Coming from Omega a journey through the time . Picture from TZ-UK
Well just a little spare cash...l would be glad to send you some spare cash with those results. That is certainly a quartz I would love to own and would bend my rules on not buying anything but Omega for that blue face.
Nice to see you diversifying Spacefruit ;-) I love the fact you are turning to the dark side of Omega quartz from the 70's, every Omega collector should own at least one Megaquartz ;-)
