I bought another Constellation (with an interesting dial)

Rather, this one doesn’t have a dial.

A mid 90s neo vintage piece with skeletonization done by Armin Strom (who also did the same work on the Speedmaster and De Ville range watches from the same period).

Case shape is also rather unique. Although it falls within the mid 90s Manhattan range that continuities to this day, it isn't an integrated bracelet watch, thus giving a very different appearance.

Enjoy!

I should add, I think the Cal 1120 base caliber was the best canvas for Mr Strom to work on. Unlike the Cal 861 base on the Speedmaster which has too many levers, wheels, bridges and even exposed screws which were not skeletonized (I assume for structural reasons), this turned out rather attractive and fits in well with the sports-elegance vibe of the Manhattan-based Constellation design.

At 36mm it’s also the perfect size.

It certainly looks beautiful. What’s the mark up on his work? I see 15/20. So I assume only 20 were produced? What does one sell for these days?
Edited to add. Beautiful selection of the strap. Congrats on the buy.

Please see the complete review of this watch on this site:

https://omega-constellation-collect...2/rare-omega-constellation-manhattan.html?m=1.

May I ask about the price?
Also, what type of box does it come with, and is there another warranty card which is the standard white version?
Unfortunately this didn't come with a box or the white warranty card, only the certificate above. I assume it should have been a brown leather book binder type box, but can't be certain as I've only seen pictures of that box with the skeletonized Speedmaster and not this Constellation (but these watches were more or less produced at the same time as a special series).

As to price, it's was actually cheaper than a new precious metal Constellation on a leather strap.... watches are so expensive these days.

That is ridiculously cool.

Is it a steel case or precious metal?

That's being added to my saved searches for sure.

It’s 18K white gold. Omega also made another 20 in each of yellow and rose gold (so 60 in total).
