Last week I found (and bought) in a Local Market market the original Buzz Aldrin Moon watch …..(well a bit smaller) In fact I even bought Buzz and all his equipment ..... I was a little boy when the Apollo 11 landed the moon and always have had them as some kind of heroes , when I saw this figure was amazed by detail , is something astonishing as you may realize in the pictures (the golden helmet , the camera , the gloves , the boots...everything is incredible ) , and the final detail , as a Speedmaster lover , is the small watch , had to buy it immediately and I am really happy with the little astronaut Yesterday I took some pics with my Schirra CK2998-62 and his JB Champion bracelet and I have the pleasure to share with you Hope you like and thanks for looking
Buzz Aldrin’s real name is, in fact, Buzz Aldrin. He had it legally changed to Buzz in the early 80’s from his given name Edwin E. Aldrin Jr. The name “Buzz” evolved from his sister Fay Ann’s mispronunciation of the word “brother” which became “Buzzer.” By fate, or by coincidence, his mothers’ name was Marion Moon.
@Privateday7...at least you didn't call it a doll! Just for the record, I believe the appropriate (and correct) term is "action figure".
(heads to ebay and types in "Buzz Aldrin toy") amazing find which definitely brings out the inner boy in us all. Great pictures.
With Barking Mads buggy now this. Would only leave this to show up next http://www.amazon.com/Toys-Models-Apollo-Capsule-Signed/dp/B004DAQVV0
