I am shocked – SHOCKED – to find that there is gambling in this establishment...

Sought after by vintage dive lovers, but not rare.

I've had a few of these and the price has never been more then 4-500usd.. The quality of that watch isn't near that value...
Another thought that runs thru my head.. that eBayer has sold some fishy things before. A lot of frankens has passed thru his store and sold as original pieces. Could this be another awkward thing from him.

The condition of the watch looks nice but I see what you mean. What kind of frankens are you referring to?

That's quite a claim since he's got two pristine looking speedies up right now, so I'd also be interested to hear what your take is

Well, this was some time ago and since it was happening more then a couple of times I stopped watching his auctions.. But I'll have a look if I can find some of the watches. Look at this as a heads-up, always do the homework and ask ask ask...

Also worth mentioning that it is a "private" listing, making it even more suspicious.

The description of the 105.012 on the site is very honest....a short trawl through WTT and FS on this site quickly confirms this.

The 105.003 he's selling seems legit, no? The lume on the dial looks a little off to me -- or is that normal?

someone smarter than me should postulate a corollary about sweet pictures = sweet prices (for used watches).

I would love to hear where this is going to go.
Everything I sell is as described or money back, it is that simple. If anyone wants to see a screen shot of private bidders on my listings that is fine by me, I have sent them before and will do so again.
All of my listings used to be private but now most are not, this is due to me using the sell similar item function from a old listing and not deselecting the private auction box.
I am a member on a few forums but this is my favourite one and do not really mind the criticism, so lets keep this respectful please.
I have already been asked about the Titus through eBay and am as puzzled as everyone else regarding the price.
Three foreign bidders with over 100 feedback are bidding against each other.
If anyone wants a screen shot I will gladly send one to them.
    Thanks Mick

    Hi Mick,

    Great to have you here.
I don't know how to look at finished auctions for like 6months back in time.. But there were two objects that I had some interest in, could have been 6-8 months ago. One of these was a redial and that was so obvious that no one working with watches could have missed, not even you. I did send two questions regarding these objects but I got no response at all. I thought then and I'm thinking now that the answer didn't occur because I apparently wasn't your buyer...

I think that one of the objects were an Heuer, probably a "orange boy".

But if you say that I'm wrong, I sure hope so! When looking at your auctions today I can't see anything suspicious which is good :)

I have never sold a orange boy, a friend did through his own eBay, the watch did not have a refinished dial.

I didn't say that the Heuer had a redial, but there has been redials for sale at your shop and thats why I stopped following your auctions. Does your friend have anything to do with your business? I'm quite sure that the watch was auctioned under your name? Or do you have similar names?
