This is my final decision today . Nothing going to change it now . I will take out the movement and store it in a safe place . Send the case to Simon at STS . I had contact with him yesterday . And when it comes back i send to Paul for service and assemble. Keep your fingers crossed . STS will do what they need to do .
Is. This the business in Gurnee Illinois that I find through Facebook? No. Business address? PS Desperately trying to replace my watchmaker after a mini disaster in a transaction
He doesn't have a web site because he doesn't need it. Wesley Grau, in addition to being CMW21, teaches watch-making. If that isn't good enough, then no web site on the planet is going to convince you. By the way, if you didn't find his email address (which is easy to find) then let me know and I will share it with you. Tom
Thanks Tom. I don't need a website (they'r mostly BS anyway), just trying to confirm I had the right guy. PO Boxes can be unsettling if you'r not s;rue. Thanks for the tip. Best regards, Bill
Ah, I see what you mean! No worries. When I first dropped a bunch of watches off, I did it in person and had a chance to talk with him. PO Box is just a method that some independent watchmakers use to assure that your watch doesn't get left on the rural porch, if you get my meaning? Tom
No problemo. I actually can't find his email as I am not qualified in Facebook. Would you share it with me?
