Even I knew that was a redial and I will freely admit to being a complete NOOB and needing to come here often for advice. 30 years experience my @ss! Sellers eBay name noted and avoided. TY

You don't need to be an expert to notice something is off about this watch: just check the 'Omega' font, like the OP said.

Ask him why the 7 marker points to 12 and not 1

The maximum height of Mt. Stupid is still unknown, though being tested daily on the interwebs.

Often, there is a thick layer of perma-mendacity at the peak.

Expert! A drip under under pressure more like!

Not even anywhere near being a good redial either.

This guy sells nothing but junk and redials, can’t believe he has 99.9% positive feedback.

He'd have to go back a lot more than 30 years to find a font like that. More like 85 years.

@X350 XJR: You should have said, "I am aficionado!"

I guess we can cross "fineauctionclub" off our list of sellers to buy!

Don't jump to conclusions. 1,986 feedback score with 99.9% positive. 30-day return policy. If he had a decent watch at the right price, I'd probably buy it. Just do your due diligence and trust your own knowledge. If you buy a nice watch from a jackass, it's still a nice watch.

I'd be exceedingly wary about buying anything from this seller. As mentioned above, he has pretty much all junk and redials. There is a niche that make a living from hyped-up overpolished crap to draw in unknowing and credulous buyers. They also know a good thing when they see it, and if they ever get anything decent it won't be a bargain.

Funny how the seller's name (not his ebay ID) is as English as it gets, yet the rebuttal to @X350 XJR was in very odd, stilted language. Draw your own conclusions from that. I know what it tells me. Oh and feedback scores are totally meaningless as all the shysters know how to manipulate that.

Upon reflection, I agree with you.

Shame on me, but I did not look at his overall rating versus volume of transactions.

For example, there was a discussion in the 13ZN thread where a dealer who sold me a perfectly fine 1963 18K rose gold JLC Memovox watch was offering up a good-looking, but poorly done (inaccurate) redial 13ZN and advertising that the dial was original dial. I reckon one can pass up some good deals if one will only do business with a "perfect" seller.

When the seller has a reasonably good reputation overall, one should look at things on a case by case basis. Anyone can make a mistake or have a bad day.

You can tell my the different types of items in the Seller's store/items now available for sale that he's clearly an expert in vintage watches
