We've got dailies for watches, Seiko watches, jokes & memes, music, TV & movies, critters that are beloved, automobiles and things in nature that move us but I haven't seen a daily for the mundane: be it the good, bad or ugly of day to day life so...

Not much sleep (the usual), went to the dentist for a tooth that's bugging me (he couldn't find anything except a way to charge me for the visit), leaf blowing a shit-ton of pine tree pods/spores(?) off of everything outside in gusting 27mph wind (limited results) and currently wracking my brain on a fast-approaching 25th wedding anniversary that I simply don't have a clue on what to do.

You?

Typical Monday #2 with a metric crap ton of meetings, some of which were doubled up, so had to do the 'left ear, right ear' routine and exhibit master 'mute button' skills. The fun part came with a nice little visit for my yearly checkup at the Dermatologist (grow up in the South West as a kid with no concept of sunscreen and these visits become best practice), where he inevitably hacks off a couple chunks of flesh...today's most interesting being on the side of my nose...haven't had the experience of a numb eye socket before...that was fun.

He did comment on my Speedy...said 'that's a beautiful watch!' So I guess it wasn't all bad today!

Just banned my first dude of the day, dealt with the overnight queues, gf’s lost one of her new earbuds so searching the house for that, school holidays are over so the house is empty, and about to sort some stuff out for gf’s business website then start writing another article about a Seamaster reference nobody really buys. Need to get some exercise too as I’m getting very fat atm.

A day for chores around the house, a bit of forum fun, some moderating on another forum, and dealing with a bad shoulder after mowing the yard in high gusty winds (the natural grass clippings blower).

I don't like any trip to the dentist for I'm a dental wimp.

Typical busy weekday over here. 4 hours of video production, then scrambling to catch up on emails, followed by the thrill of unpacking new gear, only to immediately hit tech headaches (new computers don't want to talk to our RAID systems).

After work, we squeezed in some playground time, I watered the vegetable garden, and now I'm gonna go lift some iron in the basement. And my wife has a curry simmering that smells pretty amazing.

Adult life with a kid is stupid busy, I tell you.

Dr. also said 'don't worry, you'll still be as ugly as you've always been!'

Speaking of which... leaf blowing the pine spores kicked the living shit out of my already demolished shoulder. So I feel you.

Saw the orthopedic doctor last week... fractured collarbone (he thinks it's an old injury and so small he recommended leaving it alone unless I get to a point of agony), three partial tears in the rotator cuff and lots of arthritis in my scapula.
He asked me if I was a professional football player to whit I replied, "No, but I was fat as fυck most of my life, a drummer and then rode all the fat off on a bicycle - all activities & a lifestyle that lends itself to horrid posture and wear & tear - and that shit took a toll." He didn't disagree.

I like him already. Humor is critical when chunks of flesh are being cut off.

Sold some cable for a few small jobs, argued with my daughter over the finer points of selling her home, reached out to few prospect customers I cant seem to bring on board, spent some time here. Typical day

argued with my daughter

If I got paid for that I'd buy everyone here a Patek just for the hell of it.

After several days of mid 20’s C, out playing tennis, etc. today we had snow flurries...🤬

But had a productive day at the bench, made a very tasty dinner, and a nice fire tonight. Now just watching the Leafs lose...badly...::facepalm1::

I had hummus and a coffee for breakfast, got laid, and then had a productive client call. Now I’m headed to the office and trying to figure out where to get a decent Greek salad that doesn’t cost $25 for lunch. I also keep thinking it’s Thursday, which isn’t helping.

Typical day on an offshore oil and gas platform, making sure we don't blow up and that no one kills themselves😉, but hey the sun is shining and I managed 3 miles on the treadmill (also getting fat...) so all good😁
