I am on the hunt for a new arrowhead Constellation and this is something which I have found on fleabay.

Will really appreciate if the folks here can help me to take a look at this:




Apart from the crown and buckle which is not original, are there anything off here?

Also, just to confirm the correct crown for this variant should be the 2mm decagon crown ?

What are your thoughts about condition?

 

I think the condition is fair for a watch of this age. Partly because of the light it's hard to tell too.

The dial looks stunning - by far the most important aspect on these as the difference in price between one with a good dial and one with a less splendid one will show. The case has some dings and has seen a fair bit of polish, but not too severely, IMO.

What is the asking price?

 

Yeahh unfortunately its not a perfect one as you pointed out. Though I really like this variant though with the cyclops and arrowhead .

I got it but the incorrect crown bothered me for awhile..




So in the end, I changed the crown:


Not perfect condition but it's good enough for my first vintage

Hope this do some justice to the watch that was badly taken in the earlier pictures

 

I think you took a shot at something decent and ended up with something better! Quite nice

 

Nice catch! I think anyone would be happy with this as a daily wear.
