With the arrival of this cool little Seiko 2205, I'm realizing that Mrs Faz has been infected with the watch bug but I had never noticed to what point! So? Has your better half been infected? Cheers,
Nope. She is immune. No matter how many times or what watches I offer to buy her. Enjoy the fact your wife shares your interest. I am jealous that you are sharing your interest, hobby and passion with her. Congratulations. McK
Annoyingly mine is into watches, but only fashion brands and she isn't the least bit interested in vintage. I wanted to buy her a bargain ladies octagonal Defy a few months back, you should have seen her face when I excitedly showed her the images
Mine hasn't but you're getting me worried -- can't have 2 of 'em in our house. Damn, must remember to always log out of OF.
@Faz well she sure knows what is classy - all 34mm and under I imagine The black dial Bulova is probably the most understated in terms of beauty ^^
Good eye! The LeCoultre is the largest at 34mm. All these watches were chosen while she looked over my shoulder during my nightly sales board browsing over the years. It all started when I offered her the Omega Seamaster for our 20th 16 years ago!
I had that Seiko or its somewhere in the parts box as it is sadly missing the bezel. It is hi-beat and nice to listen to if you were into listening to watches
Very cool! Would be great to share this interest with a spouse. No, not in the least. Mrs. Stang loves watching the savings account grow bigger in preparation for retirement. I would love to convince her that buying watches is simply another investment type, but the OF team has been hopeless in providing any justification for this argument!
Mrs Warrydog has not been infected, but is appreciative of gifts which come her way. Especially if they are gold, and not round !! JLC, Universal, some heirloom Hamiltons, Elgin, and some cheapies.
