    I wish he'd paid a bit more attention to the alignment of the markers ar 12.

    It would drive me nuts just seeing that every time I looked at the watch. :confused:

    I won't mention the "Letraset" effort.

    Here's one for the experts around here, do all watches with movements designated as "chronometer" bear this designation on the dial?

    Not necessarily. Most high end brands like PP, AP, VC, Moser, etc. don't bother to denote it on the dial since they're testing standards are even more rigid than chronometer standards. It's the mid level brands like Omega, Breitling, Rolex, and the like that boast about their calibers passing the test by displaying it on the dial.
