How is it possible that he missed Omega, Longines, Tissot, Cartier, Alpina, Doxa, Certina, and many other prominent makes?

Very informative. Most I got right-

I think most assume those are easy. I still find it amusing the way the Brits pronounce Omega “Oh-meeg-ah”... and I can assume they find us Yanks equally amusing with our soft E.

Jaeger LeCoultre is for sure one of the hardest for native English speakers which leads to a lot of JLC being tossed around.

It’s also fun to see Zee-nith and Zen-ith pronunciation between Americans and the rest of the world.

I got into it with a co-worker about pronouncing Stowa, as I pronounce it “Stoew-ah”, and as he is German so he pronounces it “Schto-vah”.
Then I told him that the German word for brassiere is Dasistokeepemfromfloppin...it took him a second.
