To be fair, there aren't any stickies in the WTB forum. They are in the Sales fora, which is probably an oversight.

No, it's under the watch marketplace heading, but the individual forums within are separate. WTB doesn't have stickies.

 

Nope, both are sub-fora.
If one comes here specifically to post a WTB, that person would have to enter either "private sales" or "sales" to read up on the guide lines on buying.

Absolutely correct. I guess I'm so used to knowing the rules, I never realized there weren't any stickies in WTB. Definitely an oversight, if the same 200 post rule applies.

It's an automatic subconscious response to dozens of similar inane questions.

I take your point but with no stickies in WTB and the OP with 7 posts total, I think people should be more understanding and try better at being a little bit more compassionate.

 

Fair enough.

But before I considered even posting anything on this forum I registered and spent a week or two looking around and getting an understanding of the basic rules. I would expect any valid "joiner" to do likewise.

Aside from that, a member with <10 posts who "wants to buy", without establishing any credentials or reputation on our forum raises my suspicion.

Be me wrong or be me right, that just be me.

 

Sometimes we don't have two weeks to get to know everyone before wanting to buy. For some of us, we've waited years before grabbing an Omega and now we just want one!

I've been on quite a few forums and this attitude is used on all of them though. So I understand where you're coming from. maybe the guy just wants to begin his journey and dwell deep into the obsession of Omega?
