How To Differentiate Original From Replacement Pushers

I'm referring specifically to 145.012 speedmaster but I suppose since I am interested in collecting other pre moon and pre pro speedies, it would be nice to know about those as well.

I have seen many comments discussing a speedmaster that is posted FS as having non-original crown which is quite simple to spot but what about the pushers give them away? Height? Diameter? Lack of wear relative to the condition of the watch?

    Thanks for any input.

    As far as I'm aware, the pusher size on 105.003 was 4.5 x 3 mm, changing to 5 x 2.6mm on 105.012.

    I don't have the size for 145.012, but for 145.022 it was 5 x 3.5mm.

This information has been taken from pictures of various watches that specified sizes. I can't find anything in AJTT which gives information on this.

If anyone has any of their own data which is different, it would be good to see it.

Just measured my 145.012 and the pushers are the same dimensions as my 145.022. It's 5mm diameter x 3.5mm height, excluding stem.

Information I have confirms all sizes you have stated except 105.012 which my
source says should be 5*3mm But I have not measured these myself
This is from an information source I have saved.

Measured my 105.012 to check & the depth is definitely less than the 145.012. The measurement of 2.6mm looks right, although it is not an electronic measurement & we are talking about a 0.4mm difference.

Visually, you can tell the difference and that is the important bit when you are looking to buy.
