··London sunburst dial fanI’m having a little trouble reading the 8 digit serial number on the movement but, if it’s 16****** to 18******, it’s likely to be 1958-1961.
The 501 movement appears to have been in production between 1955-1960.

·I think the serial number starts with 19 so I would say 1962. But that would be too late.

·I’m having trouble reading the serial number as well, but the first two digits look like 18 to me, which would be a manufacture year of 1961, give or take.
