Hey guys,

I spotted this very worn Cartier and I'm wondering what it's worth. How much would you pay for it? It has been recently serviced and the seller is asking 700$ but is open to offers.

Those are gold plated low end models. Too small nowadays for most to wear. I wouldn't get too carried away on it. I wouldn't give the guy $100 if he gave me back $50 change.

If the size is right for you,if you can see yourself wearing it, if the movement is working then $50 could be a good start.

I should have elaborated in my first reply. If you find this model appealing, which some examples might be, then try and search out one in better condition but bear in mind these are low end models and price is going to be a big factor. Don't get drawn in by one in rough shape. A nice example of a Vermeil tank, wind up or quartz could be had for half the price of that rugged looking thing you posted 馃憤

This is a dress watch and, for me anyway, dress watches should be in very good condition.

This watch is in poor condition. I would not pay anything for it because of the condition and, that aside, I do not find it visually appealing in the slightest.

In that price range there are currently a couple of examples for sale here that are in the 'smaller watch' category. I have no connection to any of these sales.

As others have said, it needs to be replated but it鈥檚 not financially worth it and you have no emotion connection to it. It鈥檚 a common watch. Just save a few more bucks and buy one in better condition.

Could you indicate where i can find these models for similar prices? I was always interested in these (even if they are low end) but on ebay sellers are asking excessive prices馃憥
