I have an opportunity to buy a AP speedy. Full set, nice condition, safe seller. Do you think 4100 euros is decent? It must be 4600 dollars.

That's probably the going dealer price if complete and in great condition .. I've seen them go for £2.5 to 3k in the UK ... Less for private... Is it serviced or not ... And whatever haggle like mad... I want one but they are not for everyone and I was offered one a few years ago for a great price but didn't buy it... Oh well?!?!?

Some people prefer the standard speedmaster and don't understand the history and design etc of the Alaska project .. That's what I meant... If you like it I always say ' go for it !'.. It's limited so will appreciate

 

Well, I understand better. I was more looking for a classic speedy like 145.012 or 022. Nevertheless the alaska projetct is good looking too. I's really full set; hance its price?

 

I have a 145.022-69 but I still would like an Alaska Project ( for the right money ).. However I think you 'might' be in a strong position as I think they are more for the purist... I'd have it over a standard one!

 

the watch is for sale since september. May be a base to negociate. It is more likely that I'll buy a flighmaster for 2000 euros. I love these cases. And a classic speedy.

I really don't think they are that popular or sought after.
My local A.D. was offering one for the same price as a regular 3570 only a couple of years ago.
