I understand that Speedmasters with in house 9300 movement need a service every 8 years? Does anyone know how much the cost is by Omega in the UK? Thanks in advance for any replies.
Thanks for that. I found it in the link below which from that the cost will be £470. See here: https://www.omegawatches.com/customer-service/service-prices/?no_cache=1 I was told this watch would need a service every 8 years but the site says every 4 to 5. Nice video of a Speedmaster Pro being serviced. Click here and scroll down the page a bit to play the video: https://www.omegawatches.com/customer-service/servicing-my-omega/
I'm not sure about the service intervals. There are many people on this site that have more technical knowledge than I do. I'm sure they will give some pointers and probably have on older threads. Check out this thread. https://omegaforums.net/threads/why-are-high-end-service-intervals-so-short.18632/#post-202305
Coaxial movements are suggested 6-8 years. 4-5 is because there are still a few non-coax movements in the catalog, so they err on the side of servicing too soon rather than too late. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
