So, How bad is it when you look down at your watch, and forget to notice the time? Am I the only one?
I have one that when it's in the box I wonder why I ever bought it. When I put it on, I fall in love all over again and am reminded why.
If I had a dime for every time I looked at my watch just to look at its face or to check the time and then forgot to checked the time..... I could buy a nice gold Connie...... and then never see the time again! No, you're not the only one. This is a forum for sick people. Happy, but sick. (think I'll check the time now......Oh! isn't that pretty!)
This happens to me all of the time...before I sell any of my watches I wear it a couple of times just to make sure!
Yes, I think it is in the DSM IV under "narcissistic watch disorder"...there is no cure, only more symptoms! It can be supported by like-minded individuals (aka OF enablers).
See, even tnough I know what the DSM IV is, I read DSM as Dark Side of the Moon, and thought that there was a Mark IV!
I wear a watch for around a week and then swap. I've learnt to be very careful when driving on swap day as I've actually had several near misses because I've been staring at a watch not the road.
I have a pocket watch and a motorcycle problem. So the day will come when some doctor is wondering how I managed to end up crashing my bike with my hand in my pocket.
They tell time? COOL! and I thought they were just for lookin' at! Next thing someone will tell me Harleys are for riding....... but thats just silly isn't it.
