I have one, a Sea-Dweller. Most of the rest are Omegas, with an odd Tag and Zenith to keep things interesting.

Just 3...might add at Rolex Sub 14060M down the road.
Do you enjoy wearing the Explorer II? I've always been attracted to this model with the white dial.

Why does everybody sell the Daytona ?
I think it's three reasons (at least for me)

- I really want and like the 70's/ paul newman Daytona's....I like the modern one too but it's a different animal
- You can get full bang for the buck with a Daytona so when in need of cash-flow it's an easy sell
- Becasue none of the modern Daytonas area really THAT special you know you can get another one later on.

In your case seeing what you kept...the Daytona HAD to be the one to go. The other 2 are beautiful examples

Lately I´ve got the pre-moon speedy bug but I still like my old Rolex, especially the subs..
What happened to the lume on the GMT hands ?
Is it just the lighting ? Nothing like the plots.

None currently but hoping to acquire my first one soon, once I find the right 1675. That to be followed by a 16610lv or a 16760 which ever I find the right example of at the right price first.

Unfortunately most of these gilt GMT´s hands got discolor by age and collectors have them hands "color matched" aka relumed.
I´ve (so far) decided to keep the watch all untouched and original, but maybe I´ll change my mind 😀

I've really enjoyed scrolling through the examples in this thread and wanted to contribute with mine. I own two vintage Rolexes: a 1958 Air King 5500 with dagger dial and a 1964 Datejust 1600. I really like the dressier aesthetic (and love vintage), but I've also been looking at an Explorer 114270. Seems pretty versatile.
