And I mean the exact same watch - not dial variants etc. I personally don't mind owning multiple examples of the same watch if I like the watch and was wondering how many else had similar collecting habits or am I the only one?
I haven't yet, but would. Sm300 165.024 and 166.024 I would buy multiples of because I think they are underpriced. Looking.
Early ones even more underpriced especially if bezel is original - 2913, 14755 and 165.014 (also harder to locate in nice condition).
My favorite Omega is the early, steel-cased Genève in the larger (36mm) case, and coincidentally, it is the only model in my eclectic collection that I've doubled up on!
Purchase? Sure! But I don't I've ever owned 2 identical models at the same time. It happens when I flip something and regret it so I track down another.
Not yet, but i would for all sorts of reasons. But i suspect for most of us, there's so many watches and so little time that there's usually something we want more...
No kidding! I spent about 2 years trying different watch styles to see what I liked. Now I'm working my way up the ladder.
Respectable Member pitpro Likewise, given the chance I would also like to keep multiple examples of the SM 300 diver watch. However, to get an authentic one is not easy, since most of them have been 'improved', over time. It is far more attractive than the Submariners in term of looks. Definitely a good one is grossly under-priced, relative to the Submariners'. Thank-you.
Not yet at that stage mike .......at least variation in dial or case is needed for me to justify my purchase. However I will make exception on Connie arrowhead marker..........SS or gold
