wondering if we have a good following in London, I travel there every couple of years, I love it, but not enough.

What I really need/would like is some assistance with procuring a watch over there.

Thanks everyone and anyone who is able.

I'm close, and was hoping you were going to suggest we all meet up for a beer and curry...

there's a monthly meet up with perhaps 40+ attendees from a wider group of (at a guess) a couple of hundred people, details here https://www.time4apint.com/

Yeah, I keep missing that one due to children and usually being busy on Tuesday evenings. Various friends go and it would be nice to see Simon Freese there too.

Thanks for the suggestion all the same.

I need a forum member/soon to be friend.

That can assist me with a Harrods Tudor. I live state side and have not been able to make it over and with having an 8 month old baby at home, don’t see any trips to London anytime soon with the young bugger. Obviously I’d be happy to compensate for your time with alcohol or a free place to stay in the Washington DC area if you ever visit.

(Just know I have a baby and a little beagle Brittany spaniel mix dog)

Picture of said bugger and tudor

Thanks for any help, very much appreciated and love the fact that this might be possible because of the forum.

(I do know there is a long wait, and it might. It even happen, but just the chance is amazing)

If you need collection from Harrods and onward shipping/delivery to the US, I’m sure that someone from the London Area branch of the OF Underground Railway can probably help.

@ac921ol I’m happy to help picking up a watch and shipping it to you, my college is just around the corner so I’m in the area fairly regularly. PM me.

Alright. Fellas. I’m pretty sure the time has come.

I’m assuming DHL is the best way to get it shipped safely, and have it insured for its full value.

    What are people’s thoughts?

Im sure you already know this, but please consider customs costs as well going from EU to the states. :)

Nah!... You'll only worry..... I got a better idea!

I could get my brother Bill, who works around the West End, to collect it from Harrods for you...... He'll jump on the tube to Acton,.... drop it off at one of my wife's Peruvian mates in West London..... she will give it to my Missus.... who will fly from Heathrow (via Madrid) to see her Dad, Ernesto, who lives in the Andes in Peru..... her Dad will pass the watch to my wife's cousin Juan... he will take it on a 12 hour bus ride down through the Andes to Lima, where it will be passed to a very reliable 'drug mule' who will make absolutely certain that it gets up via Columbia to the USA and is delivered to Washington DC, along with any other shite that they are smuggling over the border from South America. ::shy::

Here's the itinerary in lovely pictures just to reassure you! You can even track it on your phone!

Whad'ya reckon?... There's no better better way to get a watch from London to the USA than via Peru! :)

That would be freaking amazing, considering I’m 100% Peruvian. So I’m sold. Let’s do it, lol
