I've confessed to my weakness for moonphase Speedmasters. My favorite, that remains in my rotation of four watches, is the Ivory Moonphase, in production from 2000 to 2005, according to the MWO, with a serial number run from 77.020.xxx to 77.125.xxx, a difference of 105,000. As with other serial number runs, I assume that moonphases represent only a fraction of that number. Anyone have an educated guess at how many of these Omega actually produced?
The reference for this is 3575.20 and they also made a silver baton and hands version which is 3575.30 Such a cool piece! I doubt there is 105,000 of them as you will have to take in to account that they will have used the 1861 movements for other standard moonwatch variations but just modified it for moonphase to 1866 cal which is based on the cal 1884 from Lemania.
I also have the same model. I think this one looks better than the one with the silver batons due to the contrast the blued indices and hands provide. The white gold bezel is something too. Love mine on blue alligator strap.
