    Looks good to me from what I see. If the bracelet is genuine Omega with the Ω on the clasp, that adds some value. I'd say you did pretty well at $688.

    Can't see the serial number in that picture, but I'd guess from the caliber 56x and the shape of the S in Seamaster that it's a mid to late 60's watch.

    There are so many faked-up UNs around, the odds are really against finding a good one. Make sure you post photos.

    Serial number looks like a 27 to me so circa 1968.

    That's not bad ... I had a similar one a couple of years younger (have I still got that?), same bracelet too ... but it cost me half of what you paid.

    Everyone to their own, and everyone has to start somewhere.

    I’m certain everyone’s collection has evolved over the years - this will make a decent watch, once its serviced and cleaned
