Beats me. Obviously it’s grey market, but I’ve never seen a new Speedy Pro at this low a price. $3,400-$3,500 is more typical. I do note that the reviews of the seller are 95% positive. I’ll be interested to hear what other members think about this.

That is dirt cheap price. It's 2400€, 700€ cheaper than I bought mine from grey seller Uhrinstinkt in 2018 January. And that already was great price.

The FOIS for $2450 caught my eye as well. Is it possible that these were procured at exact wholesale cost from Omega and that the mark up is just several percent? What is Omega's price to authorized dealers for these watches?

Where are you seeing 95% positive seller rating? I keep seeing that the specific seller with the ridiculous price is new with no rating.

Yeaaaaaahhhhh..... I'm going to assume they have some sort of scam going on here, or it is someone trying to unload stolen merchandise or something nefarious.

I believe they are referring to the product rating for the Sapphire version.

^Correct, that’s what I intended. Should have been clearer. Sorry. Query: Wouldn’t Amazon have to back this up with their guarantee if the watch was not as advertised or defective? I suppose that one’s credit card issuer would also offer some level of protection. Not suggesting that OP should go ahead with the purchase, just asking.

That's the watches most recent review. Not that seller. That seller has no reviews.

Amazon would force a 100% return on the seller if product is not genuine but if it's fake the seller could be banking on the buyer not taking the watch to a professional to have opened and authenticated. A seller could have access to a "great forger" who makes a beautiful specimen on the outside but puts a quartz movement on the inside. I don't know if it's this or if it's lowest margins possible.

Amazon would eat the return if the seller disappears. Seller could rip off Amazon with a bunch of quick sales and ghost when sellers ask for money back

Yeah. Although Amazon would enforce the A to Z guarantee, I don't know if I would want the headache. I have seen these prices before on Amazon in the past few months and they all have 3 things in common. 1. They all ship out of China. 2. The sellers are all new or relatively new with less than 10 reviews (seller reviews not product reviews). 3. Have long expected delivery date of at least a week or more.

My guess is it is just few scam sellers opening a store, scam people, get caught, get shut down, open another store under different name, scam, and repeat. I am sure Amazon shuts these guys down as fast as they can but they are like cockroaches and always come back.

Probably best to stick with a known and reputable grey market seller like Jomashop or, better yet, one of the established and approved sellers on this forum.
