Well it's that time of year again when your spaghetti needs harvesting, hopefully global warming won't upset this special time of year too much and who knows we might even end up with a bumper crop.

No to far north to grow spaghetti, but the anvil are turning out nicely.
"All right Thom, you just go right ahead! I've warned you enough times about playing under the anvil tree!"

Is this one of these boomer jokes like global warming, wealth gaps, and fractured social contracts?

I recall that watched it live. It was on 'Tonight' and I think the reporter was Fyfe Robertson. Was it broadcast on April Fools Day? I can’t remember.

Forget the spaghetti harvest, what about poor Vermont’s exploding maple trees?

I was at Panera eating lunch with my late mother and they had NPR on. Her sister married a Vermont farmer who also makes maple syrup. So we’re eating and listening, and at one point she turns to me and says, “Why didn’t Valarie ever tell us Bill was in such danger?” I literally jaw dropped and dropped my fork with a big clank before starting to laugh. We called Auntie Val right then and there and had a good laugh.
