How early would this very early Omega Constellation be?

    Hello there,

I recently saw an Omega Constellation reference 2648 calibre 352 in a solid 18k gold case with a very low movement serial number (12280xxx) and case number (11000xxx).

Both these numbers are the lowest I have seen on a Connie, and I say this after conducting quite a bit of online research, scouring numerous forums and looking at dozens and dozens of photos of 352 movements.

Does anyone here know of a Connie with lower serial numbers? Could this watch be one of the earliest Connies in existence?

    Thanks in advance!

Yes the earliest connies are ref. 2648 and those serials are some of the lowest (if not the lowest) that I've seen. Would love to see photos of the watch. I have one with movement 12,334,xxx and case 11,000,xxx

Thanks for the initial responses, guys...

Below are a few photos; please excuse the quality... (Note that the two images of the dial were taken under different lighting conditions, which is why in the first the dial color is silvery whereas in the second it's creamy.)

The watch's dial seems to be pretty scarce -- if not rare -- as I could not find online others exactly like it with the same hour markers.

The leather strap and buckle are both signed Omega and seem to be original to the watch. Ditto the crown, even though it is not of the 10-sided type.

Thanks again, and I would love to hear more feedback to my initial questions: Does anyone here know of a Connie with lower serial numbers? Could this watch be one of the earliest Connies in existence?

    Cheers!

    Hi MSNwatch,
Thanks for the prompt response. I've posted a few images below and would appreciate your feedback.
Also, may I ask what is the case number on your watch? (The case number of the watch I saw can be seen in the images I posted.) I'm curious to see if your case number precedes the number on this watch or not.
    Thanks again.
