Hi, I'm thinking about possibly buying this watch. It was bought from OmegaAddict (I didn't know the website) and it appears to be in mint conditions (according to the seller). It would be great if you could take a look at the pictures and tell me what you think (apologies in advance for the low quality!). The (private) seller is asking for 575 euros at the moment. Thanks a lot!
I would pass on this one. Over polished case, wrong hands and possibly a redial. The minute markers on these dials should not cross over beyond the step on the dial as this one seems to do (especially in the second to last picture). Also IMO Omega Addict is not a reputable vintage dealer. You really need to know what your doing when looking at his watches! Just my two cents.
This is super helpful. I didn't notice those things at all. It does look like there are a few problems with it.
@Marins , here is a Seamaster like the one from above, it's for sale here on Omega Forums... https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-sparkle-ref-168-023-166-032.57530/ It is in nice condition and priced well...I have no connection to the seller, just thought you might like to take a look. Good luck with your search!
Also look at the T SWISS MADE T on the OP dial and compare that with the @Hijak one. The redial becomes more obvious.
