How does this Girard Perregaux Traveller look on this Longines Bracelet?

I am looking forward to wearing this recently acquired Girard Perregaux Traveller ll ( 4940 ) and so far have had limited success finding the perfect Brown Leather Strap
I forgot I owned this Mint Longines Bracelet and I'm wondering if you think it enhances the looks of the Traveller?

It is not currently mounted on the watch - just slid between the lugs for the picture - might look better when the spring bar is installed - what do you think?

It looks like it's at least 1mm too small in width as well.

It's just not right for that watch.

Rule of thumb: if you can slide much more than a piece of paper between the end-piece and lug, it ain't the correct size.
