Just spotted this floating in the 'bay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221611640662Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Not sure the link will work? It's item 221611640662. Looks good to me. So good it probably ends before time is up (always happens to me). Advice?

Something is off about the fonts, and the T SWISS MADE T is too far apart - plus I'm not sure it should have two, or any, T's at all.

T SWISS MADE T is pretty common to find on watch dials of a certain age as it confirms the presence and quantity of tritium used.

Seems legit with some unusual original paperwork - maybe ask for scans of some of that and send to Longines? They've checked watches for me in the past and been very helpful.

Never seen before the dial with kind of patern like it...
I think it's Original Longines Dial but I'm not too sure it's The Watch's Dial ;)
I think you should check the Dial's material first
Dial for 18k watch should be a 18k dial too...CMIIW

What make The Conquest different from omega is the Unique position of it's date...
    Date @ 12 marker's the most briliant idea ever...:p

Well, it looks balanced but it's not very legible. Having the date at 6 is the best position for balance AND readability. The caliber 341 did offer both date at 12 and date at 6 options in the Admiral series in the early 60's.

    A couple of points here...

    1. Seller doesn't show any part of the paperwork that has serial numbers. You would want to make sure that all serial numbers match as well as the case reference number of the watch model (if present -- it isn't always there).

    2. Not all 18K watches have 18K dials. At least that's what Longines said about my recent purchase.

    3. The picture is not sharp enough to show enough detail to see if the printing is original. I suspect that it is original, but just can't say for sure.

I'd ask the seller to see 1. above and also try to get non-compressed copies of the pictures that can be blown up for more detail. If the seller balks, then walk away.

    Hope this helps,
