http://oldwatch.club.tw/Codetail.aspx?ID=632&Channel=3&Lang=Cht&Model=1# How's the condition?real/fake? How much should I be paying for it? Thanks!
While I would like a better picture of the dial, it looks ok and in nice shape. Seller has a good track record from my dealings with him in the past. If with the box and once the dial condition/originality has been verified with better photos, it is worth upward of $3k. While ref. 2499 is smaller than ref. 2500 it is actually harder to find in nice shape.
http://oldwatch.club.tw/Codetail.aspx?ID=437&Channel=1&Lang=Cht&Model=1 I was comparing to his private collection, I notice the color difference, as well as different marking on the movement? As I further comparing to Kyle 2499, the 12 font looks different as well? Thanks for the input!
2499 had different dial styles but as I mentioned I would want a clear high resolution photo of the dial - seller represents it as original but: "doveryai no proveryai" (trust, but verify)
got it thank you. I hope you don't mind I ask you opinion on another watch, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-1962-O...ith-Box-and-documents-1st-owner-/291125954800Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network I like that it has all the paper and box, but the dial looks a bit bad. Will redial it at a omega authorized service center affect it's value?
That's ok too - either leave the dial alone or try having it cleaned by an expert. Having it redialled by omega (expensive) or by anyone else will diminish rather than enhance its value.
