Or you can post pics of the watch and tell us how it came to you, maybe an Uncle left it to you, or you inherited it from your grandfather. Whatever scenario is applicable to you. And mention that you don't want to sell it but would love to know how much it's worth for insurance purposes.
Congratulations. You have a nice little Omega Constellation gold capped 168.027. (now where have I seen one just recently ). As @CanberraOmega indicated you have to abide by our rules to sell here. However........ It looks to be in reasonable condition and the best way to find its true value is to put it on eBay with a starting price of $1. People will see it and the "bidding/I want" it process will take it to its true value. Unless of course you get a private message from people on this forum, but be aware that this is not the done thing old chap.
Thank you very much for your answer and I'll put it on ebay. But really I haven't so many things to say for make 200 posts, so I can't "get" the rules and post the thread in right one...Anyway, thanks again and if you can let the post here for some hour if anyone see it and want it.
OP, unless you're a watch enthusiast it's hard to get 200 posts in order to sell your Omega watch. It's easier to just list it on eBay and be done.
You don't have to make 200 posts in one day. ..in time..don't worry...I also want to sell on this forum because I think I can get better prices than eBay..
So you want to sell here because you think you can get better prices than eBay. Well you just lost one customer with that statement
it was wrong that I was honest and I admit that one of the reason it's that i don't have to pay the fees to eBay and I'll have more money for me ?. Why do people want to sell on this forum? Not everybody who want to sell an watch want the higher price for it?..maybe I'm to materialist
Because they'd rather good examples of vintage watches in particular stay within the collector community rather than possibly going to dealers who hound you with BIN offers via eBay? If anything I'd say you often get higher prices for good watches on eBay, but with more associated hassle and risk.
