I've seen early JLCs with subdials that are not right at the edge and the logo on this one looks to be the correct font with the asymmetric E. It looks suspiciously clean though. Maybe it's a JLC factory redial?
It's a dual serif C in LeCoultre, which is usually a more modern font. I'm used to seeing the serif only on the top end of the C with these older watches. Add that these pre-1960 dial finishes don't ever hold up this well. I vote redial, just a very good one.
