Yup, I see that, and probably bezel is wrong either. But the case is relatively OK, not over polished? The dial seems original too. Based on today's market, the seller is not crazy for the price.

He's got a big triangle also for sale for the same price.

Finding a correct tritium sweep hand might prove difficult, but getting a new one and having it color matched might be worth it.

If the bezel is right, then you are a step ahead. Bezels and sweep hands, I see them in my sleep. ::yawn::

Actually, I more concern about the case shape. Lots of straight lug Seamaster and Speedmaster are polished to death. Bezel and sec hand still have extremely tiny chance to find a replacement. Case is not replaceable...

The back engraving is pretty good. The double-bevel has not been polished off. The edges aren't perfect, but they are not bad either. Not a bad example for this reference, which is not very common.

Forgive my ignorance. What's the double-bevel pointing to?

Early Seamasters and Speedmaster had two facets or bevels on the caseback instead of just one that you'll find in mid-60s examples and beyond. Over the years, the bevels can get worn out from polishing and become less prominent.
