I don't have one but many of you do so how about some Apollo-Soyuz watches to mark the anniversary of the docking between the Apollo and Soyuz capsules 42 years ago today on July 17, 1975.

I'm away at the moment so can't take any new ones, so some oldies will have to do.

I won't be home for another month and I don't have any good pictures but here are some not so good old ones.

What are the chances we see all four Soyuz watches.

Much more rare than even a decades collection.

If @repoman can post his 2 beautiful examples that will be all four Soyuz watches.

Still waiting for that elusive '75... didn't help my spirits when Sacha Davidoff told me "I just sold a pristine example quietly to another collector". doh! For now, the other three Soyuz editions will have to do, the 20th, 25th, and 35th:

Lol, just read this comment. I also did say the next one I get, will offer to you, but maybe you will find a nice one before me.

I speak regularly to friends about the passion for '76 Soyuz and their rarity and we agree on:
    1) Particularly very hard to find considering 400-500 were made (depending on who you ask). Lets say 400, officially. I know of maybe a dozen and same for him and same for the museum. Maybe they are not the same dozen, but where did they all go?

    2) No one is selling theirs at the moment. All the collectors I talk to laugh when I ask about their Soyuz and if it would be for sale. I respect that, but would think at the current price levels more of them would appear, even at auction. The last two at auction I saw were Chrisites NYC $37,500 (2015) and then Christies Geneva CHF 37,500 (2016) and then.... nothing. Private sales (meaning offline) have been way higher 2016-2017 and still none offered publicly. Maybe I missed some? I did see one with ugly peeled lume on the dial sent to me by email and then a second, really nice one, that I sold privately.

    3) Very few of us can say what we project values will be in the upcoming years, but most of us are optimistic they are on the rise, just don't know where prices will rest for while. Several Speedmasters have already jumped and are now what I consider to be 'priced in' meaning less potential for price jump versus more staying at the same value and maybe gaining slowly over time. The Soyuz does not seem to be in this category.
