Numbers on the bezel are the prettiest shade of blue I've seen in a while.

The truly outstanding part of this watch was the original owner. A retired Lt.Col from the Dutch air force. He had contact with General Billy Mitchel, Omar Bradley and others. Was part of the Dutch Resistance with the allied battle at Arnheim (the movie a Bridge too Far). He was working at the Glen Martin factory just before the war started in Europe testing planes that the Dutch had order from Martin aircraft. This watch was presented to him in appreciation of his efforts at Martin Aircraft by Glenn Martin himself.

I'm not sure of the caliber. It has 10L stamped on it.

Beautiful watch. Are the screws blued or are they just polished to such a high degree that look almost black? Love that movement.
