    Hello valuable members
I have just bought locally this manual wind Seamaster de ville cal 610 for roughly 500USD.
I love this piece in stainless steel which is somewhat over polished. It is onyx insert on crosshair dial —> finger crossed ;)
Would like to hear your comments ::popcorn::
    Thank you in advance :)

    It's AWFUL! :eek::taunt::oops::cautious:

Sorry, but any watch with a cyclops date window just sends shivers down my spine.

    ;)

Other than that, you have a very nice OSDV with an original dial, a decent case and a strap that actually fits.

I can't comment on movement etc as I don't know enough about them.

    Well done, enjoy it!

Thank you for your kind words.
My bad! I over payed about 100USD for this Cyclope ;)
The seller “offered” or suggested ~100$ reduction for non Cyclope crystal. And I declined this offer ;)
@JimInOz the movement is clean with swan neck regulator but I forgot to take picture
    /reason for edit: details added/

Sorry, I meant I havent seen the movement. But the caliber 610 is one of Omega's best 30mm movements derived from the 600.

Anyway, must go, dinner is on the table and wine has to be poured.

Watch looks great, you did well for 500$. But I'm bit biased when it comes to Seamaster De Villes.:whistling:

    Thank for your comment.
About 27 years ago I parted with an automatic OSDV in the same cosmetics, and I still blame myself for
    that.
So this one - although manual wind - relieves me in some way :)

Have one on me - it's a humble little gem, IMHO. You did good!

Just for clarification's sake, the 600 series are 12.5 ligne movements, so more like 27.9 mm than 30...

The annoying thing is ... black painted second hand which is to me a bemoan :(
I lenghthly discussed about it with seller , a professional watchmaker.
He too is not sure if it is genuinely black paint.
What do you think about black painted second hand on this OSDV? Thanks
