I wish I had found this forum sooner...
For quite a few years now, I've ogled over owning a vintage Omega seamaster. Thinking I had gained enough, reasonable, knowledge in making a first purchase; I bid and won one on eBay.
Then I found this forum... and realized I don't know sh**.
May I please have some expert options on if this was a reasonable purchase, or if I got duped?

These are the only auction photos I have. Though, I suppose, in a week, I'll be able to offer more.

Echoing Jim, this looks real nice. Case is sharp.
The strap is very nice, is vintage, and fits the
watch nicely. 7 o'clock lug looks like it might be bent a bit,
but could just be the camera angle.
    Congrats

@pitpro How much is an old sharkskin strap like that worth? Anything like an original Heuer corfam? (My only frame of reference for straps)

Thanks for taking the time to reply! I'm very excited to own it (think I'm just letting all of the forum's counterfeit threads get to my head)

You are a smart guy...I try to get a lot of my friends to start out getting these vintage seamasters or vintage time only longines ... You get into a good brand that are well built... You won't see anybody in the office wearing the same watch... It will likely hold ish its value...unlike getting a mass produced tissot, citizen. Raymond Weil ...
