The crown is a replacement but everything else looks correct. The medallion is missing some blue paint but that's common. Given those two factors you might have paid a hundred too much but that's not terrible. Nice dial.
Incidentally my last and best offer was one hundred lower but the seller just would not bulge. So I guess I did not do too badly. Hope I can find one with a date at 12 in future. One question, is it difficult to find the right crown? Thanks.
What's the serial number of the movement? I'd need to know what year the watch is to tell you what's correct. Pre-1959 is a domed serrated crown, Late 1959 and 1960 is the scalloped crown, and after that the serrated crown. Let me see if I can dig up a picture of Anders' watch to show you the correct serrated version. EDIT - the first two pictures in my reply are the serrated crown for later models, and the third is the 1960 crown: http://omegaforums.net/threads/what-other-longines-worth-collecting.861/#post-9985 Here's the crown from the earlier Conquests, which usually had some version of the 19A inside: 19AS 19ASD
The movement number is 13463458. I think it should date back to '66 and the serrated crown will be correct?
