It certainly (vastly) improves mine! I'm even thinking about selling all of my other watches, lol. After so many years of reading about it, I can finally see what all the fuss is about.

One Speedmaster isn't enough, you need a 321 next, then an 861/1861 for daily wear, then maybe a gold one etc etc.

As far as first Speedmasters go though that's a pretty epic example to have.

No. If you can afford Omegas, your quality of life is, relatively, pretty good already, financially speaking. A watch isn't going to do anything if you're ill or your significant other does a runner or you just aren't happy or a million other things that money, or a watch, doesn't make a difference about.

I am struggling on getting the link between a specific wristwatch and your life quality being improved. ::screwloose::

It's certainly fancy, good looking, comfortable on wrist, easy to read, keeping good time but is this enough to consider the own life quality improved?

The El Primero cured my bunions and increased my stock returns. It makes me breakfast every day.

The Daytona has helped me pick up chicks on occasion, but its probably the only watch I know of that works like that.

    No.

    They're just things.

    Beautiful things, but just things.

    Namaste.

That's because you're probably somewhat normal so you don't fathom fanboyism.

    fanboy

    noun: \ˈfanbȯi\

A person who is completely obsessive about, and illogically loyal to, an object or company regardless of whether it sucks or not.

My cal 321 Speedmaster has certainly improved my quality of life. I am imbued with the mojo of 1,000 steely-eyed missile men every time I strap it on. It's like a wide-open, large-bore IV pumping the Right Stuff into my left radial vein. When I hit that 2-o'clock pusher, I see earthrises and black monoliths full of stars. Do the automatic day-dates work that way too?

My quality of life would improve if the OP stopped starting so many dumb threads,

If ignorance is bliss, can I be the first to say "What's a Speedmaster?"
