·I'm surprised I haven't posted on this little guy before. I absolutely love these, as does my wife. First saw one on arm of a waiter at Revel here in Seattle> Here's what I like:
-- Crisp, uber legible dial
-- Homage to classic Helvetica font
-- Classic, well designed form
-- Typical tough Casio - great beater, but can get away with using in other settings. Water resistant to 30m.
-- Stainless back and crown
-- Integrated band, does great subbing out with NATO (shown here with my Welch made cut down Phoenix)
-- I had always assumed the dial and hands were plastic, but our last one finally stopped and I went ahead and took it apart - face and hands are metal!
-- Small size (34mm across case) allows you to see how a smaller watch works for you. Also great unisex size.
-- They last and last
How they can produce this at the price is beyond me. Main downsides are plastic face scratches super easily, and the strap is pretty short.
This is in my normal rotation! And I get more comments on it that any of my other watches !?!
Everyone needs one, or three.
