I just returned from pilgrimage to holy cities of moslem : Madina and Mecca in Kingdom of Saudia Arabia. This time I brought my Railmaster with me. Here are few pictures of the rail master during the trip. They were taken by a simple point & shoot camera so the quality is not great. Hope you enjoy them.

But it pale compare to Abraj Al Bait, the next adjacent building complex. Housing a 20 storey mall, 8 (yes eight) hotels with more than 2,000 rooms, a convention center, it is the second tallest building in the world at 601 meter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraj_Al_Bait

The railmaster and Abraj al Bait

The clock, the biggest in the world at 46m diamater sit at 400 m, is an engineering marvel. Build by Straintec Swiss (http://www.straintec.ch/projects#/page-25/) it weight 21 ton and visible from 25 km. It has electromechanical movement. Just imagine if it had a pure mechanical movement.....

Congratulations on making the haj
It was 'small haj' actually. We called it Umra. The real haj only happen a month in a year. This year it will be on October.

She is right...... 😀. I had been to my haj on 2002 and 2004. They were spectatular trip, where you and 5 million other people moving together for about one week in 5 spots about 15 km area. Heavy, but spectatular.
